This Tshirt has a story. A funny-sad one.
I don't want to talk bad behind any back, but I just want to make you laugh a bit.
There was a time we had some event and show and I was into the organizing committee. Nothing new, as you know I'm a pretty busy manager in SL, right?
Well, I usually deal with designers, many of them have troubles understanding English correctly, so I have to try to guess what they are trying to ask me and what they understood out of my almost-perfect-English-written notecards. Because of course, my notecards can be misleading a bit, as English is not my mothertongue either. But I try my best not to make mistakes in grammar and words use.
But that's another story.
When we are almost on deadlines I always send an IM and a NC to designers to check that they are done or if they need a couple days more. It is fine, just they have to let me know they are sending their creations late instead of "no show". So veryone has the possibility to work and join events while I am montoring that items reach me and the team in advanced time and models are able to style them for shows. Or that we don't have empty vendors when the event is already started and costumers are coming in.
Well, the story about the Tshirt is about some of those designers who didn't answer to ANY of my IM or NC and came to the sim two days before the show planning to rezz the vendor. Well, we already did all the coreography for the show, choose models and all logistic stuff. The event with vendors was already running and... this designer was not counted in anymore. No show, no communication, no news. What do I have to assume? Either no interest anymore or busy time in RL. Good or bad, I have to deal with my event.
So yeah, this person explains that got busy in RL and didn't log on SL during that time. We offered the possibility to still rezz the item somewhere but we couldn't chance the show as it was planned and the models did rehearsal already.
So what?
The person opens voice and starts yelling at me speaking really fast and insulting me and my work.
I answered speaking in English as fast as this person, and probably surprising because I DO UNDERSTAND all you tell me in English, no matter if you yell and talk shit on purpouse.
As I was on the same level and this person couldn't win just with a discussion, as I could lead the discussion with same language skills, the person started saying that she is a busy person, and she has right to join things in SL. I replied that I AM BUSY too, in RL. And I take my time to do things in SL too. If I don't have time for SL I just inform someone and let someone elses take care of everything. The designer insisted on the importance of his/her RL stuff. I said that since this person doesn't know who I am in RL it doesn't matter, I could be someone as busy and important as him/her but don't want to tell. Who knows?
So, the last sentence: "Fuck you, you bitch. I'm a celebrity in Real Life!" and tped away.
And the lovely friend of mine Kiddo Oh made this Tshirt based on my story. I think the Tshirt is too cool. And the story so silly. People really do think they are someone just because they appeared in TV once.
I did appear on TV more then once, did some Radio shows and modeled in RL. There still are people that recognize me on the streets in RL. So what?
After that I also moved to something where people don't really have to know how I look like or how's my voice, but they appreciate what I do. Like managing and other behind-the-scene stuff.
I don't need to yell anything to anyone, as people I work with have some basic education. I don't mean school education, but... manners.

Today some great news.

Well, this today was a LOOOONG time ago. Something like almost six months ago. I just had the opportunity to try the newly released SWALLOW skin Ashley, which by the time was still a beta version. I did not know how long it wuld take until the release of the skin, so I prepared a blog post about it. Unfortunately, the skin has been released a pretty longer time later and the post is now a bit old. But I decided to leave it as it was.
Please note, the skin I am wearing is very similar but it is not the Ashley skin you are able to buy now in store. The one you find in store is the one I worn in past few posts and will probably be wearing in future posts, unless it is differently listed in the credits.

A previewer of the upcoming ^^Swallow^^ skin and a lovely dress by Dead Dollz.
Both brands are very close and important to me. You might remember I am part of the Miss Fashion Commitee, and both brands were involved in it. Miss Fashion is a contest for both designers and models, who participate in teams for the title and the prizes.
^^Swallow^^ has been the main sponsor of Miss Fashion while Dead Dollz has been the brand winning the contest.
I blogged a while ago the winner dress designed by Kiddo Oh. You can have a look at it here. The dress I'm presenting today is Tiger Tiger.
I hope some of you had the same idea I had when I firslty read the name of the dress. Why? Well, I unconsciously continued the Tiger Tiger with the sentence burning bright in the forest of the night.
But I was expecting something a little bit more aggressive. And what?! It's a lovely romantic dress with the sonnett written on the skirt. A very cute idea! And LOL! It's exactly the thing that came to my mind: Blake's sonnett!
If you don't know who's Blake and what I am talking about... get started with some English Literature.

About the new Swallow skin. It is Ashley. It has been promoted on flickr a while ago, but not released yet. The one I am wearing is ivory tone, natural make up, blonde eyebrowns.
It may happen that Luciayes Magic (the designer) will be doing some small changes before releasing the final skin, but this should be the look this skin will have, more or less.
